Laser Research Optics, Providence, RI, is introducing a new line of OFHC copper mirrors either with or without water cooling for use in high power, multi-kilowatt CO2 laser systems.

These copper laser mirrors are manufactured with OFHC copper and are offered with or without water cooling in polished, uncoated versions, or with plasma gold coatings. Providing >99.6% reflectivity at 10.6 micron and 1/4 wave surface accuracy, they are designed for beam delivery and beam shaping in high power, multi-kilowatt CO2 lasers.

Available in 1 inch to 3 inch O.D. sizes, Laser Research Copper Laser Mirrors feature a clear aperture of 90% of the diameter. These OFHC (oxygen-free high thermal conductivity copper) mirrors are effective for beam bending in all beam paths and beam guidance systems, from simple measurement setup to high performance lasers, claims the firm.
