Laser Research Optics, Providence, R.I., has developed a line of direct field replacement CO2 laser optics for laser systems frequently used for cutting intricate gaskets.

These systems include Amada®, Coherent®, Cincinnati®, Epilog®, Mazak®, Synrad®, and Universal®. Laser Research CO2 Laser Lenses and Mirrors are direct field replacements for lower power lasers that are typically used in fabricating intricate gaskets requiring high consistency, especially those made from materials for high-temperature applications. Optimized for use at 10.6 microns, these laser lenses and mirrors meet OEM and ISO-10110 specifications.

Anti-reflective coated with dual-band coatings available to aid in system alignment, Laser Research CO2 Laser Lenses are offered in 1/2 inch to 1 inch O.D. sizes with 1 inch to 12 inch focal lengths. The laser mirrors are 1/2 inch to 10 mm thick and are available made from silicon, copper, and molybdenum for extra dirty environments. Replacement optics are in stock for overnight shipment.
