Wallingford, CT -- Pauway Corp., a provider of industrial painting and powder coatings, is now offering YAG and CO2 computer-driven laser engraving services.

The new laser engraving service is being offered as an environmentally friendly alternative to other engraving processes including silk screening, pad printing, and mechanical engraving. Specific applications include sensors, industrial equipment, telecommunications parts, surgical components, and panels and dials.

Laser engraving enables consistent optimal quality from the first production piece to the last. The product's surface integrity is maintained while offering permanent identification, from a logo to serial or part number. The process is particularly suited to materials that are not ideal for laser marking -- for example, identifying parts during processing and tracking stages of delivery, to identify precise details about products making their way through the supply chain.
