Stoneham, MA -Advanced Laser Technologies (ALT) says it is now offering a laser hole-drilling service targeting military, medical, and industrial applications.

The service offers microholes with precise angles, as small as 0.010-in. (0.2 mm, ~254 μm) with 0.0005-in. (12 μm) tolerances and exact repeatability depending upon the material, thickness, and configuration. The laser hole drilling is suited for nickel alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, 6061 aluminum, and similar materials. The firm also offers airflow testing with accuracy of 0.33% of reading and 0.25% repeatability within ±2 standard deviations.

ALT is GE-approved for laser cutting/drilling and airflow per P17TF2, P1TF78, P1TF10, ANSI-Z136.1, S-422, and E50TF217, and AS9100 Rev. C certified, NADCAP approved for laser cutting/drilling (merit supplier status).
