Laser cutting company offers 24-hour small batch fabrication

March 11, 2019
Since its inception, the company has invested over $1 million in state-of-the-art laser cutting equipment.

SendCutSend (Reno, NV) has officially launched with a mission to revolutionize the way users can create custom, laser-cut metal parts nationwide. The company simplifies metal manufacturing processes by allowing users to create custom, one-off parts much more cheaply. By automating the traditional process, they provide a quick turnaround for parts that would generally interrupt the workflow of local or mass manufacturers.

Since its inception, SendCutSend has invested over $1 million in state-of-the-art equipment, including a 3 kW fiber laser cutting system that can cut up to 2200 in/min.

Users submit their unique designs in any vector-based file format, including .ai, .dxf, .dwg, and .svg, and the average turnaround time from file submission to shipment out the door to customers is 24 hours. Designs can be cut into almost any metal or nonorganic material, including stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, copper, brass, sterling silver, gold, Inconel, Nitinol, titanium, and nickel.

The company also offers precision laser etching and engraving services using its high-speed galvanometer fiber laser. They can perform surface etching and deeplaser engraving up to 2 mm deep on any metal with extreme precision and at speeds said to be 30X faster than traditional laser etching machines. Its etching and engraving services allow for comprehensive production from start to finish, including part marking, switch panels, decorative applications, or unique logo or branding additions to any metal part.
