November 3--EuroBLECH, which was held from October 24 to 28 in Hanover, Germany, hosted 1409 exhibitors from 40 countries presenting all aspects of sheet metal manufacturing and working.
The event covered an exhibition area of 76,000 square meters net in seven halls and attracted 64,353 trade visitors. This a record result for the world's largest international exhibition for sheet metal working. The show organizers, Mack Brooks Exhibitions, were particularly satisfied with a 25 percent increase in foreign visitors.
The exhibitors also consided EuroBLECH 2006 to be an unprecedented success. The general atmosphere in this industry is very positive. According to exhibitors, the current economic situation in the sheet metal working industry has substantially improved over the last two years.
According to show organizers, three-quarters of the exhibitors are already planning to participate at EuroBLECH 2008, which will be held from the 21st to 25th of October 2008 in Hanover.
