June 21--SPI Lasers has invested in state-of-the-art laser processing equipment for its San Jose, CA, customer applications support facility. The lab deploys a range of fiber lasers up to 200W as well as the new pulsed MOPA laser with Pulse Tune Technology.

New additions to thewide portfolio of laser micromachining equipment include a glovebox microwelding station and a Scantech scanner to accompany the SPI pulsed markig laser.

The lab is focused on expanding applications space for pulsed and CW fiber lasers and takes on industrial projects from around the world, carrying out proof of principle trials.
