December 13--The deadline for submitting presentations for the "II. International Conference on Laser Processes and Components" at LASER. World of Photonics China 2007 is December 31, 2006.

LASER. World of Photonics China, scheduled for March 21-23, 2007, is the region's premier trade show for photonics with two accompanying technical conferences. "II. International Conference on Laser Processes and Components (LPC) 2007" covers hot topics in the field of optical technologies. Topical areas include laser microprocessing, laser macroprocessing, and optical components, as well as laser systems and laser safety.

The conference, which is organized by Messe Munich, the Laser Zentrum Hannover (LZH), the Laser Institute of America (LIA), and the Chinese Optical Society-Laser Processing Committee (COS-LPC), serves as an information and networking platform for Chinese companies, photonic research institutes, international vendors of laser production technology, and globally active purchasing agents for optical and optoelectronic products made in China.

The event is held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center.
