Servo-Robot and ISF RWTH join forces

October 2--ISF-Welding and Joining Institute RWTH-Aachen University (Germany) and Servo-Robot have come to an agreement to promote the applications of advanced vision and information technology in the joining automation field.

October 2--ISF-Welding and Joining Institute RWTH-Aachen University (Germany) and Servo-Robot have come to an agreement to promote the applications of advanced vision and information technology in the joining automation field, and to provide technical services to the European industries in the field of automated joining technologies.

Prof. Dr. Dilthey, director of the ISF Welding and Joining Institute RWTH-Aachen University visited Servo-Robot headquarters on September 8th and signed the agreement with Jean-Paul Boillot, P. Eng., IWE, chairman and CEO of Servo-Robot Group.

The Institute will provide facilities for testing and demonstrations of advanced laser and arc welding processes. This cooperation will also include R&D programs and highly qualified personnel training to assist the industry in the applications of Servo-Robot and ISF technics and know-how.
