    LG Electronics purchases multiple high-power DPSS lasers

    May 25--The AO8 high-power DPSS nanosecond pulsed lasers from Powerlase will be used for high-volume production of the company's flat panel display PDPs and LCDs.

    May 25--LG Electronics has purchased multiple AO8 high-power DPSS lasers from Powerlase.

    LG Electronics conducts usiness in more than 39 countries had is a major supplier of PDPs and LCDs.

    The A08 laser is a further development of the AO series: AO2 (200 watt), AO4 (400 watt), AO6 (600 watt).
