Hanover, N.H. — Hypertherm announces its newly introduced HyIntensity™ Fiber Laser HFL015 system is a Product of the Year finalist and Judges' Award Winner.

Hypertherm is one of five finalists selected by the New Hampshire High Technology Council in a competition that recognizes high tech products and services that demonstrate excellence in innovation, performance, functionality, value, uniqueness, and ties to New Hampshire.

As a finalist, Hypertherm will present its system to an audience at next month’s Product of the Year banquet. Audience members and judges will then vote on the ultimate winner.

“The judges have certainly been challenged, so far, in terms of narrowing the field, and now these companies will have to prepare to wow a live audience,” said Art Bruinooge, Technology Council board member and event chair.

Hypertherm’s HyIntensity Fiber Laser HFL015 system is the first complete fiber laser system specifically optimized for cutting applications. It is more easily integrated into existing cutting systems and, when compared to traditional CO2 laser, costs less to operate, according to the company.

The New Hampshire High Technology Council’s purpose is to bring together representatives from the private and public sectors to establish and maintain financial, technical, management, legislative. and educational support programs that encourage innovative research and technology-based industrial development in New Hampshire.
