Laser paint stripping a hot subject

Feb. 16, 2010
East Hartford, CT - Concurrent Technology Corporation (CTC) has been involved in a number of laser coating removal efforts for aerospace applications. At the Symposium for Advanced Laser Applications (April 14-15, 2010) Gerard Mongelli will present an overview of some of the recent and future efforts that CTC has in this area including a review of the update to the Laser Automated De-coating System (LADS) at Ogden Air Logistic Center.

The LADS was one of the first laser coating removal systems ever installed back in 1995. The upgrade accomplished by CTC incorporated lessons learned from the operation of the system and improvements in laser technology over the past 15 years.

Companies interested in a developing market opportunity should plan to exhibit or attend SALA to get primed on prospects for laser paint stripping technology
