Intense signs Japanese distributor

March 26--Intense Ltd, a developer of semiconductor lasers, has signed a distribution agreement with Cornes Dodwell, an OEM distributor of electronic components based in Japan. The agreement enables Cornes Dodwell to distribute Intense's high-power diode lasers and individually addressable laser arrays to Japanese manufacturers who require sophisticated electro-optical components.

Under terms of the agreement, Cornes Dodwell will represent Intense's portfolio of high-density, single and multimode monolithic laser array products and high-power diode lasers across all market segments.

The high-power products include the Hermes, Hermes Imager, and HPD product families for industrial, coding and marking, defense, and medical applications.
