Via Mechanics announces new sales representative

March 15, 2017
Via Mechanics has appointed Betz & Company  as their Sales Representative in the Midwestern and Eastern United States.

Via Mechanics (San Jose, CA) has appointed Betz & Company (Michigan City, IN) as their Sales Representative in the Midwestern and Eastern United States. Betz & Company, which previously represented Hitachi Via Mechanics from 2003 through 2012, will offer the complete line of Via Mechanics laser drilling, routing, and skiving machines; mechanical drilling and routing machines; precision measuring machines; and direct imaging machines to the PCB fabrication and related industries.

In 2012, Via Mechanics acquired the engineering and manufacturing facilities and the complete product line from Hitachi Via Mechanics when Hitachi elected to exit that business. In the intervening five years, Via Mechanics has upgraded the product line and introduced some new models, including the CO2 laser-powered LC-4N machine that produces high-precision hole position accuracy, achieving 20,000 holes/s.

All of their machines are designed and manufactured in the same facility where Hitachi machines were built in Kanagawa, Japan. Via Mechanics also offers post-sale support, original spare parts, and in-house spindle repair service for new machines, as well as for all machines previously sold under the Hitachi name.
