Jan. 30, 2017
The competition is designed to introduce new technologies to the DoD's maintenance facilities to help sustain material readiness at reduced costs.

The National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (NCMS; Ann Arbor, MI) and the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Maintenance (OSD; Washington, DC) have issued the 2017 Commercial Technologies for Maintenance Activities (CTMA) Technology Competition, which is designed to introduce new technologies to the Department of Defense (DoD)'s maintenance facilities to help sustain material readiness at reduced costs.

The CTMA program, a unique collaboration between NCMS and OSD, will administer this $125,000 competition in conjunction with this year's CTMA Annual Partners and Integrated Project Meeting. All projects must cost less than or equal to the $125,000 ceiling for the award.

Submissions for the 2017 CTMA Technology Competition should include an abstract (300-500 words) and quad chart, and will be accepted until Friday, March 17th.

Abstracts must meet the following criteria to be considered for the competition:
