    TRUMPF (Farmington, CT) has appointed Ralf Kimmel as the general manager of its Laser Technology Center in Plymouth Township, MI. Kimmel has been with the company since 2000, when he began his career as a laser systems project engineer. In his new role, Kimmel's responsibilities include management of sales, service, and application development.
