EOS M 290 technology is used for serial production in industries such as aerospace that have small- to medium-size, highly complex parts, explains Andrew Snow, senior vice president of EOS North America (Novi, MI). The company's DMLS process can work with most alloys, so both prototype and production parts can be made from the same material, he says.
