Precision laser cutting specialist FC Laser has record year of growth
FC Laser (Draycott, Derbyshire, England), which specializes in precision laser cutting, has achieved 30% growth in 12 months—a record year for the company. To satisfy customer demand, it will move to larger and more eco-friendly premises by the end of 2017.
The company expects to receive the keys to its new 20,000-sq-ft. factory in December 2017, and is arranging for a prominent figure to open the new site. An opening day is planned for March 2018, when visitors will be able to see the company's suite of Bystronic laser centers, including a new 10kW machine capable of cutting 30mm materials.
It has also been taking on new staff, including account manager Brett Armitage, new business account manager Ellie Miller, and apprentice internal sales engineer Will Krafts.
