MC Machinery Systems celebrates grand opening of new headquarters

MC Machinery Systems (Elk Grove Village, IL), a part of the global Mitsubishi Corporation, hosted more than 1000 customers, visitors, and team members for the grand opening of their new headquarters in September 2017. The event was one of the first opportunities for customers and partners to explore the 175,000-sq-ft. facility, which includes a 50,000-sq-ft. showroom.

Attendees enjoyed a traditional Drum & Sake Ceremony, a go-kart track, food trucks, a beer garden, and a live band. MC Machinery experts and key vendors hosted 10 different seminars on best practices and trends in modern metal processing—approximately half of all attendees went to at least one session.

Several key North American executives were joined by global leaders from the Mitsubishi family of companies for the Drum & Sake Ceremony, including Tomoo Yoshikawa, CEO and president; Yoshikazu Miyata, executive officer in charge of Factory Automation Systems at Mitsubishi Electric Corporation; and Terutora Urano, Division COO, Industrial Machinery Business Division, Mitsubishi Corporation.

The new headquarters is located near Chicago's O'Hare International Airport at 85 Northwest Point Blvd., Elk Grove Village, IL.
