The MOPA fiber laser source from Trotec (Plymouth, MI) is available as an option for the company's SpeedMarker galvo laser marking systems. Its master oscillator power amplifier (MOPA) technology allows pulse durations between 4 and 200ns, providing a wide range of laser parameters, more options for creating high-contrast, homogeneous markings, and the ability to mark colors on some metals.
