Montana Hydraulics adds precision laser cutting to services

Industrial manufacturing company Montana Hydraulics has expanded its manufacturing capacity into custom metal laser cutting.

Industrial manufacturing company Montana Hydraulics (Helena, MT) has expanded its manufacturing capacity into custom metal laser cutting with the purchase of a Mazak Optiplex 3015 Fiber II laser cutter, which works with applications utilizing stainless steel, mild steel, copper, brass, aluminum, and other exotic metals up to 1in. thick.

The new machinery has created three new jobs and will operate on two 8-hour shifts. It was installed in May 2017, and began full productivity in mid-June 2017.

The company offers custom machining, fabrication, and hydraulic services for the mining, construction, underground utilities, railroads, timber processing machinery, waste management, and aerospace tooling industries.
