The SRS-080-10-020-01-3EXRTS six-axis positioning stage from H2W Technologies (Santa Clarita, CA) has uses in applications that require independent multiple motions on a single travel plane. Each linear axis uses the company's BLDM-D06 brushless linear motor to generate continuous and peak forces of 24.8 and 74.5lbs, respectively, with each moving table capable of a total stroke length of 82in. Independent non-contact 1.0µm resolution encoder heads read a single encoder scale, allowing for precise positioning using any multi-axis motion controller. The entire stage is assembled on a single piece of aluminum extrusion to reduce its overall weight.
