The company's long-standing partnership with Jenoptik began with the purchase of the first machine in 2006.

Chinese car models will continue to be equipped with laser-processed airbag solutions from Jenoptik, as the company's long-standing customer and partner Jiangsu Xinquan Automotive Trim signed a contract for the 300th Jenoptik-Votan A Classic laser scoring system at the end of April 2018, ordering two perforation machines for different technologies and materials.

Xinquan, founded in 2001, specializes in manufacturing various interior components for the automotive industry. The company's long-standing partnership with Jenoptik began with the purchase of the first machine in 2006.

Jenoptik is also delivering its Jenoptik-Votan A Scan laser system, which is the latest technology for airbag perforation, enabling Xinquan to serve the premium vehicle segment. The company is investing in modern plant technology to equip new vehicle generations in China with the laser-weakened airbag. The laser process creates functionally reliable, invisible defined break lines along the required airbag door contour in instrument panels. This patented process constantly opens new design possibilities in the vehicle interior. The new generation Jenoptik-Votan allows the precise processing of high-quality and sensitive materials.
