Fraunhofer ILT's International Laser Technology Congress reschedules for May 2022

Owing to the progressing Coronavirus pandemic, Fraunhofer ILT has decided to cancel the May 2020 International Laser Technology Congress (AKL).

Owing to the progressing Coronavirus pandemic, the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology (Fraunhofer ILT; Aachen, Germany) has decided to cancel the May 2020 International Laser Technology Congress (AKL). The safety and health of the attendees, partners, and employees is top priority for them. The next AKL will take place May 4-6, 2022, thus maintaining its regular biennial rhythm.

However, so that interested parties do not have to wait another two years for the live demonstrations in Europe's largest laser system park, which are firmly anchored in the AKL, Fraunhofer ILT intends to open its doors as early as fall 2020 and in 2021 for various planned symposia in Aachen, provided that the general conditions allow it again.
