Handheld laser welding and cleaning system uses smaller spot size

April 21, 2022
The LightWELD XR handheld laser welding and cleaning system uses a smaller spot size to extend the welding range of material thicknesses.

The LightWELD XR handheld laser welding and cleaning system uses a smaller spot size to extend the welding range of material thicknesses on steel and aluminum up to 6.35 mm, titanium and nickel alloys up to 5.00 mm, and copper up to 2.00 mm. Pre-cleaning removes grease, oils, rust, and oxide coatings and post-cleaning removes soot, weld-related debris, and discoloration.
