High-brightness laser engines have use in precious-metals welding and cutting
Four new high-brightness models of the ClearCut materials processing laser engine feature output powers from 110 to 700 W, small spot size, 113–365 µm output, and 450 nm wavelength, which is optimized for maximum absorption of copper, gold, and silver. They are used for precision precious-metals welding and cutting that require a low beam parameter product (BPP).
