Nanofabrica hosting roundtable 3/25 on using additive manufacturing to fight COVID-19

March 24, 2020
The company's 3D printing, with 1 μm resolution over cm-sized volumes, can make microfluidic chips and other essentials to fight COVID-19.

Nanofabrica (Tel Aviv, Israel), which makes 3D additive-manufacturing (AM) printers for precision engineering, invites researchers, doctors, and manufacturers to harness its manufacturing capabilities to develop COVID-19 related medical devices and solutions.

Nanofabrica will host a virtual roundtable on Wednesday, March 25th, at 16:00 GMT+2 and invites all interested parties to join a brainstorming session on how the company can use its manufacturing capabilities (3D printing with 1 μm resolution over centimeter-sized volumes) to fight COVID-19 together with other companies and institutions.

Possible applications are smart filters for microfluidic chips, antibacterial surfaces, complex and precise structures, and soft molds for fast injection molding.
