The FFC-100 erbium-based fiber frequency comb is based on the MLL-100 mode-locked laser featuring a passive SESAM mode locker.

The FFC-100 erbium-based fiber frequency comb is based on the MLL-100 mode-locked laser featuring a passive SESAM mode locker. It delivers sub-100 fs seed pulses to a highly non-linear fiber for supercontinuum generation with >30 mW of power. Locking the ƒCEO and ƒopt of the octave-spanning comb provides long-term stability.
