A variety of helium-neon (HeNe) gas lasers comply with CDRH and IEC 60825-1 requirements for safety. There are 28 versions, including red lasers emitting 0.5 to 35 mW, green lasers with output from 0.5 to 2 mW, polarized yellow lasers at 1 or 2 mW, and frequency-stabilized versions at 0.5 or 1 mW.
