The CRONUS 3P optical parametric oscillator (OPA)-based laser source was developed specifically for advanced nonlinear microscopy.

The CRONUS 3P optical parametric oscillator (OPA)-based laser source was developed specifically for advanced nonlinear microscopy. It provides microjoule-level, sub-85 fs pulses at repetition rates of up to 2 MHz and is tunable from 1.25 to 1.8 µm, covering the biological transparency windows at 1.3 and 1.7 µm for three-photon microscopy. Automated group delay dispersion (GDD) control and automated beam steering provide laser pointing stability.
