The OD-669 gallium aluminum arsenide (GaAlAs) infrared (IR) LED illuminator features a peak emission of 880 nm and is designed with nine chips connected in series, housed in an electrically isolated case, suited for covert aircraft lighting applications. Minimum total power output is 390 mW, spectral bandwidth at 50% is 80 nm, and the half-intensity beam angle is typically 120º.
