Optical frequency combs feature 15 kHz free running linewidth

July 25, 2022
The FC1500-ULNnova optical frequency comb synthesizer model uses a redesigned comb laser oscillator.

The FC1500-ULNnova optical frequency comb synthesizer model uses a redesigned comb laser oscillator based on patented ultra-low-noise (ULN) figure 9 mode locking technology. It has a free running linewidth of 15 kHz and provides a frequency stability on the 10-19 level within 1 sec. averaging time. Comb spacing is 250 MHz and phase noise is <100 mrad.
