RTP nonlinear crystal

Oct. 1, 1998
RTP is a crystal that can be used for harmonic generation or optical parametric oscillators. The material has a transparency range from 350 to 4500 nm (similar to KTP`s) and an optical damage threshold 1.8 times that of KTP. The crystal`s high electrical resistivity of 10-11 to 10-12 ohm-1 cm-1 along the ¥axis makes it useful for electro-optic applications or for making periodically poled RTP elements.
