Two surface-mount LEDs, the SunPower Chi¥LEDs, made of AlInGAP, and the flip-chi¥HSMX-H670/690 LED series are designed to be used with compact PC boards or (for the SunPower models) for side-lighting applications, such as LCD pager displays or telephones. The SunPower LEDs have luminous intensities of 65 mcd for amber and orange and 50 mcd at reddish-orange at 20 mA drive current.
