The 15-W OPC-B015-FCTS microprocessor-controlled diode laser is designed for small-area materials-processing applications including heating, welding, and soldering.

The 15-W OPC-B015-FCTS microprocessor-controlled diode laser is designed for small-area materials-processing applications including heating, welding, and soldering. An optical fiber delivers the 830-nm light along with a collinear visible beam. Fiber sizes range from 400 to 1.16 mm in diameter. The 12 × 12 × 5-in. thermoelectrically cooled unit has an RS-232 interface and a closed-loop optical power control.
