Nuvonyx acquires European subsidiary

November 9, 2005, Bridgeton, MO--Nuvonyx is acquiring Thales Laser Diode (TLD; Paris Orsay, France). TLD was a laser division of Thales and has been providing laser diodes to the market place for over 15 years.

November 9, 2005, Bridgeton, MO--Nuvonyx is acquiring Thales Laser Diode TLD (TLD; Paris Orsay, France). TLD was a laser division of Thales and has been providing laser diodes to the market place for over 15 years.

"We are pleased to welcome TLD to the Nuvonyx Family.", commented president and CEO of Nuvonyx Mark Zediker. "This acquisition will allow us to expand our product line to now offer both actively and passively cooled CW and QCW laser diode devices. This acquisition also provides Nuvonyx an immediate strategic presence in the European market, which is a critical link in our Diode Component and Industrial Laser System future growth strategy"

As part of the acquisition strategy, Nuvonyx will change TLD's name to Nuvonyx Europe SA.
