AVIA series Q-switched, diode-pumped, solid-state lasers offer output powers up to 40 W at 355 nm. The gain medium is Nd:YVO4, and the lasers include integrated microelectronics and the company’s PermAlign 2 optical mounting technology. They are designed for materials processing applications in microelectronics fabrication and packaging, such as via hole drilling.
