Jenoptik to show high-power 760 nm semiconductor laser at SPIE BiOS and SPIE Photonics West 2015

Jan. 28, 2015
A high-power semiconductor laser that emits at 760 nm has use in dermatology and medical hair removal.

A high-power semiconductor laser that emits at 760 nm has use in dermatology and medical hair removal. Its laser bars have a fill factor of 30% and a 1.5 mm resonator length, providing an optical power of 40 W at more than 50% efficiency (WPE). The semiconductor stacks provide water cooling and a window for integration into dermatological handpieces. They are also adapted to the pulse lengths and repetition rates necessary for thermokinetic selectivity and, thus, modern epilation.

SPIE BiOS and Photonics West booth number: 8916 (BiOS) and 1423 (Photonics West)
