SemiNex to showcase two-chip laser package at LASER World of Photonics 2015

June 11, 2015
The 2CM two-chip laser package outputs up to 8 W of continuous-wave (CW) power in a 0.22 NA, 200 μm single-core fiber.

The 2CM two-chip laser package outputs up to 8 W of continuous-wave (CW) power in a 0.22 NA, 200 μm single-core fiber for applications requiring high brightness, high power, and high conversion efficiency from a small form-factor laser. It features an "eye-safe" 1470 nm wavelength for use in medical and dermatology applications, such as surgical treatment of varicose veins. Versions with 1490, 1560, and 1570 nm wavelengths are also available.
