A 3 W tapered amplifier operates between 770 and 790 nm.

A 3 W tapered amplifier operates between 770 and 790 nm. Its monolithic design consists of a single-mode ridge waveguide section with a tapered structure in a C-mount package. It can be used in master oscillator power amplifier (MOPA) setups. It offers typical amplification of 22 dB and a minimum of 16 dB, with 20–30 mW seed power.
