The ELBA fiber laser has utility in biomedical applications, including ophthalmology, gene sequencing, and high-resolution microscopy. The laser has telecom-grade components to deliver up to 3 W of visible (10 W of infrared) TEM00 output with beam quality of M2 < 1.1. Additional features include a redundant electronic shutter, a monitoring photodiode, and electronic emission and power level signals. Available wavelengths are 530–577, 635–665, 770–790, 1060–1154, and 1550–1570 nm.
