Quantum Composers to showcase DPSS laser at SPIE Photonics West 2016

Jan. 18, 2016
The Jewel Q-switched, Nd:YAG diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) laser has a compact, monolithic design.

The Jewel Q-switched, Nd:YAG diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) laser has a compact, monolithic design, measuring 6 in. long and weighing 2.5 lbs. An integrated thermal management system eliminates the need for external fans and water cooling. Additional features include self-diagnosing software and swappable resonators and diodes, and applications include light detection and ranging (lidar), particle-image-velocimetry (PIV), laser-induced fluorescence (LIF), optical parametric oscillation (OPO), TFT-LCD repair, ablation, and mass spectroscopy applications.
