A 20 W mid-infrared (MIR) laser offers nearly diffraction-limited beam quality.

A 20 W mid-infrared (MIR) laser based on wavelength beam combining (WBC) of quantum cascade lasers (QCLs) offers nearly diffraction-limited beam quality. The laser has uses in defense and commercial applications, and is undergoing qualification for use in key application environments.
