Laser Components, Polymicro Technologies form partnership

Laser Components recently signed a contract with optical fibers manufacturer Polymicro Technologies, which applies to all German-speaking countries and territories.

Olching, Germany--Laser Components recently signed a contract with optical fibers manufacturer Polymicro Technologies, which applies to all German-speaking countries and territories. The deal becomes effective on December 1, 2011.

The deal is said to enhance Laser Components' product portfolio, according to Patrick Paul, managing director at Laser Components, including hollow waveguides designed for CO2 and Er:YAG lasers. More new products will be announced in the coming weeks and months, including UV fibers.
