Jenoptik's laser cutting machine for 3D metal cutting

Sept. 25, 2013
Used in the automotive industry, the BIM JENOPTIK-VOTAN-BIM employs a laser robot arm with a completely integrated laser beam.

The BIM JENOPTIK-VOTAN-BIM is a robotic laser machine for 3D metal cutting. Used in the automotive industry, it employs a laser robot arm with a completely integrated laser beam. The laser coupling is located at the base of the robot so that the transport fiber does not move concurrently with the arm, minimizing maintenance. Weighing 5 kg, it offers repetitive accuracy of 100 micron.
