Continuum to showcase dye laser, laser platform, and DPSS lasers at SPIE Photonics West 2014

Jan. 26, 2014
Continuum will showcase a dye laser, laser platform, and DPSS laser line at SPIE Photonics West 2014.

The Vista dye laser offers <0.03 cm-1 resolution and >30% conversion efficiency, and allows for narrow linewidth across the tuning curve. Mechanically indexed and optically reseated gratings enable switching from single- to dual-grating combinations without realignment or optimization. The laser covers the 380-980 nm wavelength range; with the company's compact Vista FX option, the wavelength range extends to 206 nm.

The Powerlite Furie laser platform delivers 7 J of infrared (IR) and 4 J of green light, and can operate 24/7 in industrial and scientific applications, including Ti:sapphire pumping and materials processing.

A line of diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) lasers comprises the Terra and Terra PIV (Nd:YLF laser series) and Mesa and Mesa PIV (Nd:YAG laser series). The lasers have uses in scientific and commercial applications such as ultrafast amplifier pumping, particle image velocimetry (PIV), laser micromachining, and diamond cutting.SPIE Photonics West booth number: 1813To Learn More:Contact:ContinuumHeadquarters: Santa Clara, CAProduct: Vista dye laser, Powerlite Furie laser platform, and DPSS lasersKey Features: Vista dye laser: <0.03 cm-1 resolution and >30% conversion efficiency; Powerlite Furie laser platform: 7 J of IR and 4 J of green light; DPSS lasers: Nd:YLF and Nd:YAG versionsWhat Continuum says: View more information on the Vista dye laser, Powerlite Furie laser platform, and DPSS lasers.View More Products Locate a vendor or system integrator in our Buyer's Guide.Share new products that you think are particularly interesting or helpful by contacting Lee Dubay, Associate Editor, Laser Focus World.
