PRESS RELEASE

LASERDYNE 430 High Precision Laser System

Champlin, Minnesota: The LASERDYNE 430 precision laser system features a special rack-mounted fiber laser with over 1400 watts of peak power requiring just 110 volts of input power and no water cooling. This combination results in a very small footprint for a laser system of this capability.

The LASERDYNE 430 system is designed for processing a wide range of laser-welded or laser-machined products using a basic 3-axis motion system available with enhanced integrated rotation and tilt axes for full 5-axis motion. Among its many features are:

• Rugged vertical machining center base structure designed for factory-tough reliability.

• Time-proven, high-precision S94P motion control system.

• Front and side access for easier automated part load/unload operation.

• Multiple laser options available from fiber and fiber-delivered sources.

The LASERDYNE 430 operates at speeds up to 800 inch/min in the X, Y, Z axis (0-20 m/min) with bidirectional accuracy of 0.0005 inch (12.7 micrometer). This accuracy is throughout the system’s 23 x 16 x 20 inch (585 x 408 x 508 mm) work envelope, making it ideal for processing a broad range of components at the highest rates with precision quality.

A product backed by a 30-year track record for laser system excellence, the LASERDYNE 430 system is supported with complete field service.
