The 1 mJ IR and 350 μJ 532 nm microchip lasers from Concepts Research Corp. have repetition rates up to 30 Hz with pulsewidths <1 ns and beam quality of M2 ≤2. They are housed in the “SLIM” package, which measures 4.51 × 2.5 × 1.26 cm. Adding a heatsink and fan increases the package size to 6.58 × 3.5 × 2.91 cm.RPMC Lasers
O’Fallon, MO[email protected]More Products ----- PRESS RELEASE New 1mJ Microchip! RPMC Lasers, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of the new 1mJ IR and 350uJ 532nm microchip lasers from Concepts Research Corporation. These new lasers will have repetition rates up to 30Hz with pulse widths <1ns and good beam quality with an M2 ≤2. These lasers will be housed in the brand new “SLIM” package which measures a mere 4.51cm x 2.5cm x 1.26cm. If the customer would like to use the heatsink and fan that comes with the laser the package size grows to 6.58cm x 3.5cm x 2.91cm. The UV versions of this laser will be available in the coming months. In addition to these new lasers, we continue to offer conventional microchip lasers which are housed in the traditional FP-2 package. The FP-2 package is smaller than the new SLIM package and more attractive to those who have tight size restrictions. If cost is an issue, we can provide the same wavelength and laser performance of FP-2 packaged lasers in the SLIM package for a lower price. Typical applications for these microchip lasers are seed sources for amplified laser systems, LIDAR, marking, scribing, fluorescence measurement, ranging, biomedical, microLIBS, etc. Since 1996, RPMC has been offering high quality dpss lasers as well as laser diodes. We currently offer millisecond, microsecond, nanosecond, picosecond, femtosecond and CW solid state lasers as well as fiber lasers. We offer some of the newest and most efficient designs available, as well as custom solid state designs. For more information on all of our lasers please contact [email protected] or call 636-272-7227 ext. 224 for more information or to discuss your application.
