The WhiteLase UV supercontinuum fiber laser provides a spectrum from below 390 nm to beyond 2400 nm.

The WhiteLase UV supercontinuum fiber laser provides a spectrum from below 390 nm to beyond 2400 nm, enabling applications such as fluorescence imaging, broadband spectroscopy, optical coherence tomography (OCT), and time-correlated single-photon counting (TCSPC). It delivers 1.5 or 3 W total power at megahertz repetition rates with picosecond pulses, making it suitable for steady-state or lifetime measurements. An optional internal pulse-picker enables adjustment of the repetition rate from 40 MHz down to 100 kHz.

PRESS RELEASE

New WhiteLase UV

Fianium introduces their new WhiteLase UV, the world’s first UV-enhanced, high-power supercontinuum fiber laser with the following key features:

*Guaranteed UV cut-in wavelength <390nm

*Continuous high brightness output to >2400nm

*Up to 3W total Average Power

*Fixed or variable repetition rate

*Touchscreen control with intuitive operation

*High reliability and low cost of ownership

By utilizing a key technology the WhiteLase UV provides a spectrum from below 390nm to beyond 2400nm enabling an even wider range of applications from a single laser source which include fluorescence imaging, broadband spectroscopy, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), Time Correlated Single Photon Counting (TCSPC) and more.

Offering 1.5W or 3W total power (Average Spectral power densities of 0.75mW/nm or 1.5mW/nm respectively) at MHz repetition rates with picosecond pulses, the source is equally suitable for steady-state or lifetime measurements. With the optional internal pulse-picker, the repetition rate can also be adjusted from 40MHz down to 100kHz giving even greater flexibility.

The laser system with integrated touch-screen control is turn-key, requires no user maintenance and is compatible with all WhiteLase tunable filters and accessories.
