Laser Photonics has introduced the FiberTower MegaCenter to provide a solution for manufacturing facilities with the need to mark multiple parts. The marking system utilizes an x-y gantry system that allows the user to mark multiple parts with the same identification at the same time to increase production.

Laser Photonics has introduced the FiberTower MegaCenter to provide a solution for manufacturing facilities with the need to mark multiple parts. The marking system utilizes an x-y gantry system that allows the user to mark multiple parts with the same identification at the same time to increase production. The system is designed with the end user in mind with a complete turnkey class 1 laser safety enclosure, high-performance fiber laser, industrial computer, and large screen. The large marking area of 36 x 36 in. allows parts of numerous sizes to be marked by a single user. The Q-switched fiber-laser marking system is a safe, state-of-the-art, low-cost direct part marking alternative to laser marking with Nd:YAG and Nd:YVO4 lasers.

Laser marking machinetakes throughput time to the next level

Many industries use laser systems to mark their parts with their company logos, serial numbers, part numbers, product identification and UID marks for government standards. Companies with high volumes of marking have been subjected to the industry standard of a single part being marked at a time. Although the parts are often marked much faster than conventional dot peen or stamp marking, the laser marking part of the assembly is often where the bottle neck occurs. Laser Photonics, has introduced the FiberTower MegaCenter to fill the void in manufacturing facilities with a multiple part marking system.

The FiberTower MegaCenter utilizes an x-y gantry system that allows the user to mark multiple parts with the same identification to increase production. This system is designed with the end user in mind with a complete turn-key class 1 laser safety enclosure, high performance fiber laser, industrial computer and large screen. The large marking area of 36"x36" allows for parts of numerous sizes to be marked by a single user.

The Perfect Piece of Equipment for Laser Marking on Large or Multiple Parts

The FiberTower MegaCenter was the perfect fit for their needs with the ability to mark numerous tools with speed and accuracy. The tools were marked with Cornwell Tools' logo and then each tool was marked with the appropriate size and part numbers. Using lasers to mark their product also opened the door for additional markings on their tools that was previously unable to be made. They were able to mark around corners of their wrenches with additional information for the user as well as in small areas on the tool for the manufacturer. The FiberTowerT MegaCenter has allowed Cornwell Tools to be more flexible in their marking and has given them the ability to mark more tools at a single time with higher throughput and accuracy.

Developing laser marking, laser cutting and laser engraving systems for precision material processing industries, Laser Photonics is leading the way with innovative fiber laser and CO2 laser systems. Our laser machines are used by manufacturers in the automotive, aerospace, industrial, defense, electronic and medical industries around the world.
